Seven disciplines. One team. The same model.

Splendit is not an architecture plugin with a bit of electrical thrown in. Every discipline has its own tools, its own rules and its own checks, and they build on each other in the right order.

Architecture

From brief to permit set.

  • Plans of any shape from a brief with gross, living and footprint areas, on several levels, with the project's own wall types
  • Elevations, sections, details, revision clouds and drawing sets
  • Furnishing with real families; new ones are created when the library lacks the right object
  • Areas to SS 21054 · permit check against the local plan · site, terrain and sun studies

Structure

The frame that carries what the architect drew.

  • Load-bearing walls, beams, columns and floors from spans and loads
  • Foundations: slab on grade, beams, footings
  • Glulam and steel sections from the handbook tables
  • Clash detection against HVAC and electrical in linked models

HVAC & plumbing

Ventilation, water and drainage sized in the model.

  • Ventilation layout per room: heat recovery, terminals, ducts and sizes
  • Water and drainage: shafts, falls, draw-off points
  • Säker Vatten and industry rules as the basis
  • Dry run first, so you see the calculation before anything is placed

Electrical

Electrical design with the regulations built in.

  • Outlets, lighting and luminaires per room function
  • Consumer units, cable routes and cable quantities
  • The Swedish electrical safety rules as the basis
  • Rooms are identified automatically, even in models with several phases

Fire

Fire safety checked against BBR, not gut feeling.

  • Fire compartments with EI classes that drive wall types and doors
  • Escape routes, travel distances and number of escape routes
  • Preliminary findings reported for review by the fire consultant

Sprinklers

Sprinkler systems per hazard class, in the model.

  • Sprinkler heads placed by room, ceiling height and hazard class
  • Pipes, branches and sizes
  • Real families from the project or the library

Accessibility

Accessibility checked throughout the model – and presented the way the municipality wants it.

  • Turning circles, clear door widths, bed space and level differences
  • Small houses are shown with space and clear dimensions, not with accessible-WC fixtures
  • Finds fixtures in the host model, linked models and 2D symbols
  • The result is drawn in a dedicated check view so you see exactly where it fails

The disciplines talk to each other

What makes Splendit something other than seven separate tools is the order and the coordination.

The right order

Rooms and functions first, then fire compartments that drive the wall types, then services that follow the room functions. Splendit knows the order and asks when something is missing.

Clashes and links

Checks against linked models, unload and reload links, work in a linked model and save it without affecting the host project.

Your plugins

Splendit finds MagiCAD, Naviate, Ideate, Enscape and other installed add-ins and uses them for what they are made for, instead of redoing the work.

Common to all disciplines

Quantities and estimates

Building parts, areas and materials are summed straight from the model into a first cost estimate, with climate impact per choice.

Drawing sets and PDF

Checking drawing sets before delivery, combined PDF deliveries, IFC export and images from the model.

Review

Model comparison, check views and reports that show what changed and what needs verifying.
